Violist Melissa Reardon and cellist Raman Ramakrishnan will premiere Relics, a piece for Viola and Cello dedicated to them, and written under the aegis of Gabriela Lena Frank Creative Academy of Music. Michi Wiancko will also be performing on violin. There will also be premieres by composers Samuel Winnie, Samantha Boshnack, Dustin Carlson, Kai Ono, and Tanner Porter. 2:00 pm: Grounds open 2:30 pm: Doors open 3:00 pm: INDOOR CONCERT + reception

The Philadelphia Orchestra has commissioned me to write a piece in dialogue with Beethoven Symphonies nos. 5 and 6, in celebration of Beethoven's 250th Birthday anniversary. Conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin will lead the orchestra in three performances of this programme on March 12th, March 14th, and March 15th in Philadelphia's Verizon Hall. This commission was made possible through a collaboration between The Philadelphia Orchestra and Gabriela Lena Frank Creative Academy of Music.

Apart from the three performances in Philadelphia's Verizon Hall, the orchestra is performing Iman's piece in Saratoga Springs, NY, on August 14th, 2020.
