Kamloops Symphony Performs Radiant Light at Their Wellness Lab

Kamloops Symphony, led by Maestra Dina Gilbert, has launched a new program, The KSO Wellness Lab, as part of its 2020-21 season’s outreach series. Iman Habibi’s Radiant Light will be a part of KSO’s Pro-Amateur Jam Session, which will take place in various places around Kamloops on Sep. 26th and 27th, 2020.

The repertoire for the events include:

  • Florence Price: Adoration arr. for string orchestra
  • Julie Thériault: Four Songs – Mirage, Isthme de l’etre, Fleur de peau, Mutation plutonique
  • Iman Habibi: Radiant Light

Philadelphia Orchestra Performs Jeder Baum spricht in Saratoga Springs – Livestream Watch Party and Lawn Screening

This event will be presented as a livestream watch party and lawn screening at SPAC, instead of a live performance, due to COVID-19.

The Philadelphia Orchestra, led by conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin, will perform a newly commissioned work from Iman Habibi in dialogue with Beethoven’s 5th and 6th symphonies, entitled Jeder Baum spricht in Saratoga Springs, NY, on August 14th, 2020.

Jeder Baum spricht is commissioned by The Philadelphia Orchestra and Maestro Yannick Nézet-Séguin, thanks in part to a partnership with Gabriela Lena Frank Creative Academy of Music.

WRTI Broadcast of Habibi’s Jeder Baum spricht Performed by Philadelphia Orchestra

On July 26th (1pm EST) and 27th (7pm EST) WRTI will present two more broadcasts of The Philadelphia Orchestra and Yannick Nézet-Séguin’s performance of Beethoven’s 5th and 6th symphonies, as well as Iman Habibi’s piece, Jeder Baum spricht.
