Orchestra of St. Luke’s and Gabriela Lena Frank Creative Academy of Music (GLFCAM) have joined forces to commission several chamber works from composer fellows of GLFCAM, including works by Iman Habibi, Christine Delphine Hedden, Marco-Adrián Ramos, Anjna Swaminathan, and Matthew Evan Taylor.
Iman Habibi’s work, Uproot for String Quartet, will be premiered on April 4th, 2019 at Harlem School of Arts, at a recital presented by Carnegie Hall.
