Boston Symphony Orchestra Premieres Iman Habibi’s Zhiân

Open Rehearsal: Andris Nelsons conducts Brahms, Habibi and Montgomery featuring Julia Bullock, soprano and Hilary Hahn, violin
Boston Symphony Orchestra will premiere Zhiân, a 13-minute piece they commissioned from Iman Habibi. The event will feature soloists Hilary Hahn and Julia Bullock. The program also includes Jessie Montgomery’s Freedom Songs, and Brahms’ Violin Concerto.
